After graduating from nursing school in December of 2011, I took my state boards and am now a certified RN in the state of Ohio. But I put my nursing career on hold to pursue a dream that I feel is worthy of my very best—becoming a UFC champion and dominating my weight division within the sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
That is a realistic goal for someone of my background. I have trained in Aikido and various other martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Brazilian Jujuitsu, and Boxing since I was a boy. And as an aikido player, I have had the privilege of becoming a 3- time U.S. National Champion and made history as the first American World Champion in full-contact aikido.
1 First American World Champion in full-contact Aikido (men's individual randori).
2 Three-time U.S. National Champion in full-contact Aikido.
3 Completed B.S.N in nursing and certified registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
4 Goal is to dominate weight division in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
I have excelled at martial arts because of an unparalled work ethic, an unrivaled passion, and an unremitting commitment to study and learn from the world’s best instructors. With my sweat, your financial support, and their tutelage, I am confident that I will become a top competitor on the world stage.
If I do not succeed, I will return to nursing and earn a comfortable professional salary out of which Pave investors will receive their
contracted percentage. But if I do succeed—and I plan on it—then they will be receiving their contracted percentage times a seven-figure salary, including endorsement money. So while the risks involved in professional fighting are substantial, it is my sincere hope that you will share my confidence and consider backing me through Pave.
As a competitive athlete, I have been very fortunate to have coaches and mentors who have helped to keep me motivated to train at the elite level necessary to be a champion. I always enjoy speaking with people who understand the committed lifestyle that a top athlete must adhere to because I can always pull useful information from their experiences and obtain strategies that can help me maintain the highest level of focus. In seeking out mentors through Pave, I would hope to meet people who know what it is like to maintain a strict regime around the clock. Training full-time and never straying from my goal would be made easier if I had one or more Pave mentors who have already figured out how to sacrifice for success. If they also
happened to be top-level athletes or former athletes, that would be icing on the cake.
