I'm raising funds on Pave to expand the reach of Project Inkblot, part incubator for entrepreneurs who look to reshape the world through art, and part online magazine aimed at inspiring other creative types. Our goal is to demystify the creative process so that talented individuals can take their concept from vision to implementation.
Since launching Project Inkblot in 2012, we've helped dozens of entrepreneurs launch their own businesses through our incubator program, secured partnerships with the Brooklyn Museum and MoCADA, and have built a global readership that utilizes the wealth of resource articles and other content we provide on Project Inkblot.
We've achieved a lot in a short time, but we need your help to take the next step. We're looking to offer more robust services to our clients and also are looking to allow our services to be utilized by those less financially privileged. In addition, ProjectInkblot is in need of a redesign not only to improve its usability, but also to enhance the site with tools and teaching modules that will benefit our business-minded users.
1 Developed a global audience for ProjectInkblot in just over a year.
2 Coached dozens of entrepreneurs, which led to the launch of their businesses.
3 Presenter at the first Transnational Feminism Conference at Umass, Amherst.
4 Panelist for the 30th Anniversary Social Thought & Political Economy Conference.
I founded Project Inkblot to teach artists and creative entrepreneurs to understand and maximize the creative process. My goal is to reroute the conversation of success, from that of the "end product" to that of the process itself. Our website is a robust archival of resources for artists by experts in various creative fields who give invaluable tips and advice.
I run creative coaching workshops aimed at helping individuals create work that they love that also makes a social impact. My coaching clients and workshop participants create new career paths, and create and commit to seeing through new passion projects. I help clients create new belief systems and building blocks for success, and overcome debilitating blocks.
Imagine a world where people were empowered to do work that they loved. My long term aim is to create opportunities to teach this school of thought around the world, and develop more engaging programs to train individuals, institutions, and organizations.
