Today, I’m incredibly excited to announce the launch of Pave’s new website and brand ethos. If you know me well, you know I love working on these types of projects—the opportunity to enhance design systems and build compelling experiences is so much fun!
However, the most important outcome of this work is to engage in a more meaningful conversation with customers about how we create value for you. This is where the real work begins. And, after several months of exploration and development, supported by our wonderful partners at Huge, I’m happy to say this conversation begins right now.
Starting at the very top of our redesigned website—our home page headline—the driving force behind everything we do at Pave is now crystal clear: we are perfecting the art and science of pay.
This simple brand ethos explains Pave’s purpose, how we approach our work, and the promise we make to customers. While true perfection is impossible, when you partner with Pave, we will do everything in our power to help you make smarter, more effective compensation decisions.
Credibility Matters
To me, the most important element of a brand is credibility. Can you actually deliver on the promises you make? In Pave’s case, I emphatically believe the answer is yes. We have differentiated capabilities that make us uniquely qualified to take on the quest of perfecting the art and science of pay.
It all starts with data. At Pave, we are building the world’s largest real-time compensation dataset, with more than 8,000 companies already integrated to our platform. The rich data we collect from these companies via direct connections to HRIS, ATS, and EMS platforms doesn’t just help us benchmark compensation with incredible accuracy, it gives us visibility into how organizations work.
It’s powerful stuff, and when this data is put in the hands of our world-class data science and engineering teams, we can model everything from pay levels to turnover to workforce levers that drive performance. We can then infuse insights from these models (e.g., Calculated Benchmarks and Cycle Insights), along with AI tools, into our compensation workflows to help clients make great pay decisions.
Our unique data assets, our ongoing investments in AI, data science, and engineering, and the end-to-end nature of Pave’s compensation management software, are the ingredients required to begin perfecting the art and science of pay.
Control, Confidence, & Trust
Perfecting the art and science of pay sounds great in concept, but we all know this endevour only matters if it serves as a means to an end for our customers.
With this in mind, I’m also excited to announce the Pave Value Framework, our new system for helping compensation and total rewards teams measure and communicate the value of their work. When you partner with Pave, our data and tools will help you gain control, act with confidence, and build trust. Here’s how the framework operates:
- Control - By connecting your HRIS, ATS, and EMS platforms to Pave, you are creating a single source of truth for your entire compensation ecosystem, allowing you to better understand and control your company’s largest area of investment—people.
- Confidence - When you infuse the power of real-time compensation data, AI, and predictive machine learning into your daily workflows, you and your team will be able to make every compensation decision with new levels of confidence.
- Trust - Once you have full command of your compensation ecosystem and can make pay decisions fully aligned to real-time market conditions, you’ll earn trust from your entire workforce, including leaders, people managers, employees, and candidates.
Critically, perfecting the art and science of pay accelerates every customer’s journey toward more control, confidence, and trust.
Our research on pay for performance outcomes during merit cycles is a great example of this model in action. We mined our unique data assets to explore differences in pay by performance level, we shared findings with our customer community, and now we’re building Smart Flags in our Compensation Planning product to assist decision makers in real-time.
Stay tuned for more news on the Pave Value Framework.
