Platform
SAP SuccessFactors Integration
Exciting news for organizations who manage their workforce data in SAP SuccessFactors: you can now integrate directly via SF’s OData APIs with Pave. Our new SuccessFactors connection provides real-time access to SAP employee data, including employee demographics, job history, base and variable pay history, and more.
This connection is built on an OAuth / SAML certification framework, providing the type of secure, enterprise-grade authentication that large organizations require. The launch marks another pivotal step in Pave’s mission to provide best-in-class integrations for our customers.
Compensation Workflows
Market Pricing
Auto-smoothing
As compensation leaders know, one of the biggest struggles in market data analysis is having to trade data quality for coverage—which often leads to imprecise outcomes. Auto-smoothing leverages AI algorithms to automatically identify and correct irregularities, remove outliers, and fill missing data points so you no longer need to manually fill gaps in your benchmarking data.
The result is more consistent, reliable benchmarks that better represent your market position and lead to better decision making. This initial release focuses on base pay, with additional pay types coming soon.
Auto-smoothing is still in beta, but Pave customers can talk to their account team to learn more.

Updated Market Data Support
Support for executive levels is now available in Market Pricing, giving customers the same comprehensive executive benchmarking capabilities already available in Market Data. You can now build executive compensation bands using Pave data, ensuring consistency across all levels of your organization and reducing reliance on external providers.
In addition, we’ve streamlined the experience of job architecture updates in Market Pricing. Our enhanced migration flow automatically maps your existing job families to new or updated job families in Pave’s system, eliminating manual remapping work and keeping your benchmarks current without interruption.
Support for Expanded Pay & Equity Types
Market Pricing now supports expanded pay types crucial to enterprise businesses, including total direct compensation (TDC), refresh equity, and annual equity. You can use these critical pay types directly in Pave when benchmarking, managing existing ranges, or generating new ranges. No more relying on offline calculations or spreadsheets.
This feature is in beta. Pave customers, talk to your account team to learn more!
Compensation Planning
Smart Flags
Smart Flags help you achieve better talent outcomes by introducing a more flexible rules engine that lets you define exactly which employee scenarios need attention during compensation cycles. Opt to rely on Pave’s standard flagging logic, or create custom rules tailored to your organization's unique needs, ensuring no compensation outliers slip through the cracks.

Compensation Risk Smart Flags are also now in private beta, which include templated, configurable Smart Flags to spotlight key employee compensation risks like manager compression and equity cliff detection, plus an AI-powered compensation outliers flag. Customers can connect with their Pave team to get involved.
Custom Reward Letter Builder
Take control of reward letter template design with an intuitive reward letter editor. You now have more flexibility to customize reward communications while maintaining the professional quality your employees expect.
Custom Column Builder
Planning is easier than ever with the ability to configure custom formulas and see results in real-time. The new custom column builder features an improved interface with live previewing capabilities. This enhancement makes advanced formula configuration more accessible and user-friendly, giving you more control over your planning process.
Dynamic Grant Modeling
Give planners crucial visibility into how new equity grants affect individual employees' vesting schedules. The new total compensation timeline chart shows exactly how proposed grants impact upcoming vesting events, helping you avoid compensation cliffs and make more informed equity decisions.
Guides
In Q2, we announced Guides, a feature that supercharges your planners with fully-customizable, in-app walkthroughs in the Compensation Planning tool. Now, Guides has launched to every customer, so any admin can equip planners with exactly the context they need, exactly when they need it—directly in the planning workflow.
Total Rewards & Team View
Equity Detail View & Timelines (Team View)
In Team View, the equity detail view received a complete redesign to give managers crystal-clear visibility into their employees' complete equity story. The new interface makes it easier for managers to understand and communicate equity compensation details during team conversations.

Team View also features updates to the total compensation timeline, creating consistency across all Pave products. Whether you're working in Compensation Planning, Team View, or Total Rewards, you'll see the same timeline design and functionality. This modernized and unified experience helps you make confident decisions throughout the platform.
Value at Vest (Team View)
At public companies, many employees sell their vested shares at time of vest, which best represents their realized compensation as stock prices fluctuate. The value at vest calculations in Team View now reflect this reality. Instead of using static share prices, we calculate past equity values based on the actual share price when equity vests, providing a more accurate picture of realized compensation.
New Equity Currency Conversion Options (Total Rewards)
Enhanced currency conversion options in Total Rewards give you improved control over how equity information is displayed to your international employees. You can now convert equity values to local currency while keeping share prices displayed in the original currency—matching how equity is typically communicated and modeled.
Market Data
Enhanced Job Catalog
Pave's job catalog has grown to 200+ job families, allowing you to benchmark pay for more roles with greater granularity. To best support compensation leaders, we analyzed patterns in our dataset to ensure we only added jobs with meaningful distinctions between each other, rather than creating an overloaded job library.
Key areas of improvement include adding more AI, engineering, biotechnology, and G&A jobs. For more, read our job catalog FAQs.
Industry Filters
Market Data also includes a new, modern industry filter. You can now examine compensation for AI engineers, for example, across different market segments, from AI to FinTech to Enterprise Software companies.
Some of the new industry filtering options include Technology - Software Products & Services, Technology - Hardware & Devices, Life Sciences, and Media, Entertainment & Gaming, to name a few. You can expect to see more industries as data becomes available.
The Roadmap Ahead
As we look ahead to Q4, Pave is continuing to build out AI-powered features to help supercharge your compensation intelligence at every step of the journey.
